ARE Outrigger World, exclusive ARE Tahiti distributor for North American and Hawaii, will raffle off an ARE Tahiti V1 Marara as part of the 2022 Iron Champs, in San Diego, Saturday, June 25th.
All it takes is a $10 raffle ticket, and you can paddle off in the ultimate one-man, rudderless canoe, whose smooth glide and responsive steering give you the feeling of being “at one” with the water. The V1 can make you a better paddler by giving you more control of the canoe. And it best prepares you for a spot on a 6-man racing canoe.
More and more ARE Tahiti V1 outriggers are making their presence felt in the waters of Southern California, along with the ARE Tahiti OC1 Mana, with rudder, and the preeminent 6-man racing canoe, the V6 Matahina. Two V6 Matahinas will race in Iron Champs 2022, with canoes representing Newport Outrigger Canoe Club and Offshore Outrigger Canoe Club.

The fund-raising raffle will be held at the conclusion of Iron Champs 2022, sponsored by San Diego’s Kai Elua Outrigger Canoe Club (KEOCC) and SCORA.
