Havasu Heat —April 1st, 2023
On Saturday, April 1st, LHCOCC will host the 4th annual Havasu Heat. It features single and double paddlers, six-person teams, and SUPs from Arizona, Southern California, New Mexico, and Hawaii. Long-course races: 7am; Short-course races: 10am.
A Chance to Demo ARE TAHITI V1 Rudderless Canoes
On Friday, ARE Outrigger Worldwill be on hand, starting at noon, giving paddlers a chance to demo ARE Tahiti V1 rudderless outriggers. Tahitian master coach Nephi “Mana” Tehiva will also give pointers and discuss the Tahitian mindset when it comes to paddling. ARE Outrigger World will give away dry bags to all who attend.
